Morning Mist Rooms & Rates
You are invited to unwind and relax at our peaceful Bed and Breakfast with its stunning lakeside view, right in town. All amenities are within three blocks. The dock is only a few metres away for those who enjoy boating and fishing, and a beautiful nine-hole golf course is also minutes away.
Our home boasts two guest rooms in the walk-out lower level, providing easy access to the lake. Guests have fully-furnished living and dining areas at their disposal, as well as two guest bedrooms, both with queen beds, that share a bath.
The guest area is separate from the hosts' living quarters upstairs, and is accessible via the main entrance to the home, a private entrance on the lower level (summer only), or through the garage. Please note that access to the lower level requires the use of stairs by guests.
Come enjoy the Northern Lights and breathtaking Saskatchewan sunsets on the lake, while basking in the outdoor hot tub!
Room rates
All rates are in Canadian funds
- $75 per night single occupancy
- $80 per night double occupancy
- PST and GST (10% total) are not included in the rates.
Our cancellation policy:
- If cancellation is received three days or more in advance: full refund;
- If cancellation is received two days in advance: half refund;
- If cancellation is received 24 hours or less prior to reservation: no refund.
Your hostess
Laurie Archibald recently retired from a career with the federal government. She and her husband Art "accidentally stumbled onto Big River via the internet. We came here looking for an acreage, loved Big River, and bought our lake view home. The residents of Big River are warm, generous and knowledgeable. We are quickly learning more and more about the area, its history and dreams."
Other information for guests
- Check in: The rooms are available between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time, unless prior arrangements have been made.
- Check out: Check out is 10:30 a.m., but we can be flexible if you let us know in advance.
- Our Bed & Breakfast is not completely childproof, so is available only to adults.
- Morning Mist B&B is a smoke-free home. Smoking is restricted to outdoors only.
- Sorry, but we cannot host pets, however, our friends at www.trailrunners.ca would be more than happy to care for your pet during your stay at Morning Mist Bed & Breakfast.
